I just received an e-mail from Last.fm Team:
we’re still working on ways of separating artists with the same name, for the mean time there will be no single control of the page by any one artist. Sorry we can’t help with this, but we do take the issue seriously and are making progress on it.
Good news I suppose! Let’s just wait and see what happens…
I will be performing at Club Robot’s launching party April 23rd. It’s taking place at a really nice venue called Under The Westway in London, and Intelligentsia and Komputer will also be playing, so make sure not to miss it!

Random is a damn good artist name. Perhaps it’s even too good, since at least six other artists other than me wants to use it. This can be slightly problematic sometimes, for several reasons which you can probably figure out yourself.
Recently there has been a small war going on between me and some other Randoms on Last.fm. It started with my picture being changed to a picture of five hopeless Austrian emopunk wretches sitting in a room looking very serious about life and their hairdos, and a few days later the Random page on Last.fm was pestered with (suprise, surprise!) a bunch of emopunk songs. Not acceptable.
It took a little work and some e-mails to change it back, and for the moment it’s a bit of a compromise with two of my songs and two emopunk songs on the page, but I’m planning to put Operation Ruthless into action soon…
So… there’s a “48h Challenge”-thread going on over at the 8bc forums, where one person at a time gets challenged in to composing a song in 48 hours, following certain rules given by the challenger. Two days ago, wedanced challenged me to make a tune with the following rules:
8-bit theme song for a unicorns and dragons vs. chuck Noris and David bowie (as the the goblin king) battle sequence with lol cats dancing in the background.
He is obviously insane, but I accepted the challenge non the less. The result (which is more of a 10-songs-in-1-megamix than an actual theme song) can be downloaded here or from the original 8bc post. Enjoy the madness.
