Heading out on a three day, three city tour together with Goto80 and Raquel Meyers, with local support by Newart, Kola Kid and more!
SCHEDULE:
I had the joy to be a part of a tribute album dedicated to Bit Shifter, celebrating both his birthday and the five-year anniversary of his great EP Information Chase.
I made a C64-style cover of Reformat the Planet in Milky Tracker. Download here.
For more info about this great project, and to purchase the full album, go to 8bitpeoples.com. Please note that "[a]ll profits from sale of the Reformat compilation will go to Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami relief via the American Red Cross."

Update: Some nice photos from the night can be found at Jeroen Dekkers website: http://jeroendekker.com/concerts/2010-july-24-acu-utrecht-eindbaas-4-random-firestarter-s2n2o-cup/
A compilation full of chip covers of The Knife songs. I'm especially glad to be part of this compilation, since it does not only feature 11 great covers, but marks the comeback of two great demoscene musicians that have been inactive for quite some time: Zalza and Excellence In Art (XIA).
Playlist:
- 01. Maskingoperatör - The Captain (feat. Malin Vega)
- 02. Zabutom - Bird
- 03. Paza Rahm - Girls Night Out
- 04. Random - Like A Pen
- 05. Syphys - Heartbeats (Live at GameCity09)
- 06. Pass This On Interlude
- 07. Gem Tos - Marble House
- 08. Zalza - We Share Our Mother's Health
- 09. Excellence In Art - Handy Man
- 10. Misfitchris - Na Na Na
- 11. Dubmood - Silent Shout
Enjoy!
Big thanks to everyone involved, organizers, artists, audience and reality shapers – I had a fantastic time! It was really good seeing all good old friends again, as well as meeting new people or people I've only talked to online before.
For those of you who missed the CONDOM show, it may be of some comfort knowing that a live recording EP will be released on 8bitpeoples in early 2010. In the meantime, there are some videos floating around.
I'm heading to Rio de Janeiro, to perform at FILE Hipersonica, which is held at MAM nov 23rd, along with Bit Shifter, Bubblyfish, Covox, Henry Homesweet, Pulselooper and Sabrepulse. noteNdo will be VJing. It will be awesome.
Spamtron and I made a tune together. It's called "BWARGH" and can be found in mp3 format on 8bitcollective.
Original 10ch .XM can is downloadable here: http://www.randomizer.se/tunes/modules/BWARGH.xm
Enjoy!
The (partial) line-up for Blip Festival 2009 has been announced! Make sure to buy your flights, trains, buses now – and of course get the festival pass!
And no, my name is not on the line-up, however I will be performing a collaborative live set with Covox on the Official Blip 09 After Party. COVOX + RANDOM = CONDOM!
This is most likely a once in a life time chance to see CONDOM perform. To get tickets to the after party, please help funding Blip Festival via Kickstarter.

I did a quick cover of Kraid from the ever so fantastic Metroid soundtrack a couple of months ago. Original by Hirokazu "Hip" Tanaka.
You can download it in mp3 format here or on 8BitCollective.
